2. What we collect
Calculator inputs: All calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser. They are not transmitted to our servers, not stored, and not sent to any third party. Calculator state may be saved to your browser's URL hash (for share links) or localStorage (for remembered currency preference — key: cm_currency). This data stays on your device only.
Self-hosted typography: All fonts (Inter and Playfair Display) are self-hosted directly on our origin servers. We do not load fonts, scripts, or styles from Google Fonts, Google CDN, or other third-party font networks, guaranteeing that no IP address or browser telemetry is shared with external font providers.
Cookieless web analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor aggregate traffic, page views, and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first, 100% cookieless, and does not use localStorage or fingerprinting. It does not track you across other websites, does not collect personal identifiers, and does not retain IP addresses.
3. Cookies and browser storage
Calcumetrics does not set any tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We only use functional browser storage (localStorage) to preserve your explicit user interface choices:
cm_currency: Remembers your selected currency symbol (e.g., INR, USD, EUR) across tools.cm_theme: Remembers your light/dark mode preference if toggled.

4. Advertising and future consent
Third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) is not currently active on this site. If we introduce advertising or cookie-based services in the future, we will deploy a certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) and update this policy prior to activation. No ad network or tracking scripts will execute without appropriate user consent.
5. Legal bases and your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR (access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, or applicable US state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA and others). 6. Data retention and security
We do not store calculator inputs on any server. Aggregate analytics data from Cloudflare Web Analytics is retained per Cloudflare's privacy guidelines. We enforce HTTPS, HSTS, and strict security headers.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the date of the last material change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
