Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Calcumetrics (calcumetrics.com) uses cookies and browser local storage, their exact technical purposes, and how you can control your preferences.
1. Current implementation: Functional browser storage
Calcumetrics does not currently set any tracking, profiling, or third-party advertising cookies. We use client-side localStorage solely to remember your immediate UI preferences between visits:
cm_currency: Stores your preferred display currency symbol (e.g. INR, USD, EUR, GBP) for universal calculators.cm_theme: Stores your dark mode or light mode appearance preference.
This data stays strictly on your local device. It is never transmitted to our servers or accessible to third parties.
2. Planned advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
Calcumetrics plans to display advertising via Google AdSense in future. When enabled, Google and its certified vendor partners may use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) and device identifiers to serve ads and measure ad impressions.
Future Consent Management: Before any advertising cookies are activated for visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other regulated jurisdictions, an interactive Consent Management Platform (CMP) dialog will be deployed in accordance with Google EU User Consent Policy and IAB TCF standards. This policy will be updated before any advertising cookies are enabled.
3. Self-hosted typography & zero external tracking
All web fonts (including Inter and Playfair Display) are self-hosted locally directly on our own domain servers. We do not load fonts, scripts, or stylesheets from Google Fonts or third-party CDNs, ensuring that your IP address and browser headers are never transmitted to external font services.
4. Cookieless web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure high-level traffic and site performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is 100% cookieless and does not use local storage or fingerprinting. It does not track users across sites, does not collect personal data, and does not log IP addresses.
5. How to control and delete browser storage
You can clear your stored preferences (such as remembered currency) at any time by clearing your browser's local storage and cache in your browser settings. To opt out of interest-based advertising across participating networks, you may visit the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out or Google Ad Settings.
